Yallambee Residential Care Service, Traralgon
Yallambee Aged Care Services consists of a 96 bed Residential Care Service and 110 Units for Retirement living. It is a "not for profit" organization and managed by a community representative Board of Management.
The Yallambee Residential Care Service consists of high care, low care and dementia care beds.
The Service operates under the Aged Care Act and meets the Accreditation Standards for Aged Care. It receives Commonwealth Government funding
The Yallambee Retirement Village consists of one and two bedroom units where the elderly can live independently with minimal supports in place.
Units at Yallambee Retirement Village
Support is provided by way of maintenance services and access to after-hours staff for emergencies. An active program of social activities is also provided.
The retirement village comes under the Retirement Villages Act and is funded by residents in-going fees and maintenance fees.
Yallambee is ideally located just one kilometre from the main street of Traralgon. The Traralgon Bowls Club is next door and the Senior Citizens Club is adjacent.
Regular bus connections make other services easily available.
