At Yallambee Residential Aged Care Service:
We provide a 96 bed facility for those with low care, high care, or dementia service needs.
Residents have their own room. There is an en suite toilet and hand basin, which will be upgraded to a full en suite during our current rebuilding program.
Our Lifestyle staff run extensive programs to provide both mental and physical stimulation. These include music, movie sessions, concerts, church services, bingo, outdoor events, activities with visiting school children and bus trips.
Special events are celebrated with fun activities. These include Easter, Queens Birthday, AFL finals, Melbourne Cup and Christmas.
All residents have their individual Care Plans which are reviewed each month. Family members and the resident are encouraged to participate in Plan decisions.
We adjust levels of care as client mobility or the type of care and services needed may change with time or with specific circumstances.
Care is provided by qualified and capable staff, with on-call service available at all times.
