Yallambee Traralgon Village

At present there are around 150 residents, singles and married couples, living independently in our units.

With our current building program more units will become progressively available through to 2015.

So, what is retirement village life like at Yallambee?

At Yallambee Retirement Village:

We provide suitably designed one and two bedroom units so that residents can live independently for as long as possible.

The Village is approximately one kilometre from the main street of Traralgon where comprehensive shopping facilities are available.

The Traralgon Bowls and Social Club is next door and the Senior Citizens Hall, which is a short walk just opposite, provides a wide range of social activities.

Yallambee also puts on a number of social activities specifically for the Retirement Village residents.

You can prepare meals at your or use our meal service to take lunch or evening meals at the Residential Care.

We also provide a “Meals on Wheels” service for those residents who cannot leave their Unit due to ill health. Access to home help is also available.

In the units all permanent internal fixtures and fittings are maintained by our maintenance staff.

The maintenance staff are also responsible for the lawns and common gardens while residents have their own small garden area directly outside their unit.
