Presentation of Thanks

On the 25th of September, Yallambee hosted members of The Keith Chenhall Charitable Trust for a presentation of thanks for their ongoing support.

Over the last two years the Trust have very generously approved grants for:

• The Yallambee bus which offers much needed connectedness with our community
• The ‘Virtual Forest’ installed in Waratah House that provides a calming and engaging interactive experience for our residents
• An all-terrain wheelchair which allows residents with low to no mobility to get out and about within the facility and our community.
• Improvements to the living environment provided to ensure it is both beautiful and appropriate.
  

Most recently, they have approved a grant that supports our Acacia House building project. This latest grant will see you furnish a wing of 6 rooms within Acacia House including all the furniture required to make each room comfortable and safe for residents and staff. The grant also includes heal protectors, air seat cushions and a TV for the residents of each of the rooms and a GE Dinamap Carescape V100 Vitals Monitor for entire house. This monitor will be of immense benefit to our staff to provide the very best of monitoring & care to residents who are acutely unwell.

We were very pleased to have so many representatives of the trust on site to see the benefits of their generosity in person. We look forward to maintaining our positive relationship long into the future and appreciate all the assistance that has been provided to date.
