Visiting Update 20 May 2021

24 May 2021

At Yallambee keeping our residents and staff safe is our highest priority and in line with directions from the Department of Health, there are now no limits to the number of visitors to an aged care facility or the duration of the visit.

We kindly ask that bookings are still made via our online booking system or by calling the home directly. This is to ensure that we have adequate contact tracing measures and the appropriate allocation of staff available to assist with entry screening. Visits between 8:00am and 4.30pm can be booked online. All other times must be arranged with our management team.

It is no longer a condition of entry into Margery Cole Residential Aged Care Service to provide evidence of annual vaccination against influenza. Those visitors who are unable to produce evidence, or choose not to be vaccinated will no longer be excluded from entering on those grounds. This however may change if state or federal Governments mandate the vaccine as a condition of entry.

Please refer to the document below for full details of the further changes to the Visitor Terms & Conditions.
